Petunia Debuts Collection of Carriers
Monday, June 7th, 2010Petunia Pickle Bottom’s anxiously awaited collection of Carriers are now available in stores and online.
Available in three styles, the Walkabout, the eco-friendly Tour Guide, and the Sightseer carriers make a stroll through the park with baby will be effortless and stylish.
The Walkabout Baby Carrier features the stylish but rugged felt shell found in their Scout Collection of bags. Easy to use, the carrier slips on like a t-shirt and snaps into place with a few easy buckles. The first of its kind, the fashionable Walkabout boasts two eco-friendly machine washable, recycled nylon liners that snap-in-and-out so while one is being washed, the carrier can still be in use. Since many dads do a lot of the baby wearing, this collection was created specifically for the rugged, modern father, but the design sensibilities are such that it is a Baby Carrier that can be shared with both mom and dad.
Made is organic cotton, the Sightseer Baby Carrier features the same iconic proprietary fabrics Petunia is known for combined with a signature Petunia stitch detail. This stunning Baby Carrier in printed organic cotton is the epitome of function and fashion. Slipping on like a t-shirt and snapping in place with a few simple buckles, it is machine washable, comfortable and easy to use.
Made from Earth friendly recycled nylon, the Tour Guide Baby Carrier completes the collection. The only c
arrier of its kind, the machine washable Tour Guide is made from recycled materials, including a recycled polyester shell (PET), and a recycled nylon liner.

The
of the devastating earthquake last week, the organization and the city of Jacmel is in immediate need. We have been working with a team of people over the last several days to coordinate the delivery of baby formula, food, water and medical supplies to this town completely cut off as a result of the quake. The first delivery left Santa Barbara, CA on Friday and was successfully delivered on Sunday. This is just the beginning. Our mission is to assist with the basic immediate needs, but also help The Hands & Feet Project prepare for the onslaught of children orphaned as a result of the earthquake via this Petunia Outlet “Haiti Relief Sale.”
In the end, we could only select 3 finalists that needed to rally their friends and family to vote for their tradition to win the highly coveted
